Privacy Policy
Loop Chomp ("the game", "we") is a browser game. We collect as little as possible. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what is stored and why.
What we store
- Game progress on your device. Your coins, unlocks, scores, streaks and settings are saved in your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device unless cloud sync is active (below).
- An anonymous account. When you play, we automatically create an anonymous account (a random ID — no name, no email) so your progress can sync to our cloud database. This is powered by Supabase.
- Your email, only if you choose to link it. Linking is optional and exists so you can recover progress on another device. We use it for sign-in links only — no marketing.
- A display name, if you set one. Shown next to your scores on public leaderboards. Pick anything; it doesn't have to identify you.
- Scores and coin wins you submit to global leaderboards, visible to other players alongside your display name.
- Purchase records. If you buy something, we store what was bought and a transaction reference so we can restore your purchases.
- A referral code, if you arrived through a share link. When a player shares Loop Chomp, their link can carry a short code. If you first open the game through such a link, that code is stored with your save so we can count which shares bring in new players. It contains no personal information about you or the person who shared.
What we never see
- Payment card details. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers. Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
- Your identity. No real name, address, phone number, or government ID is ever requested.
Analytics and advertising
The game may show advertisements (for example, optional rewarded videos). Ad providers may process your IP address and device information to serve and measure ads, under their own privacy policies. We may also use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand how the game is played. We do not sell personal information.
We use the Meta Pixel to measure how our ads for Loop Chomp perform. When you visit, it may set cookies and share your IP address, device information, and pages visited with Meta under Meta's privacy policy. We use this data only to measure and improve our advertising. You can limit this with browser tracking protections or ad blockers, and the game works fine either way.
Cookies
The Meta Pixel described above may set its own cookies. We set none of our own. Local storage is used to save your game, the short referral code described above if you arrived through a friend's share link, and a short tag noting which ad campaign or link brought you here.
Children
Loop Chomp is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data deletion
To delete your cloud data (account, saves, scores, display name), email us from the address linked to your account, or include your player ID: support@loopchomp.com. Local data can be removed by clearing your browser storage for this site.
